The biggest news this time of year relates to colds and flu. As you are all aware, the swine flu is very much in the news. There is a lot of helpful information but also a lot of misinformation. We hope to clarify things for you. If you still have questions after reading the following information about the flu, please do not hesitate to contact us during regular business hours. The swine flu that is prevalent in our area seems to be mild at this point and recommendations for it are the same as the seasonal flu that goes around every year. Influenza is a viral infection of the nose, throat, windpipe and bronchi. The main symptoms are a cough, sore throat and runny nose. Usually there is more muscle pain, headache, fever and chills than seen with the common cold...
